Kyaw Zwar Minn, Myanmar’s ex-ambassador to London, who was locked out of his embassy on Wednesday night and forced to sleep in his car. He was dismissed from his post for being critical of the military coup in Myanmar and calling for the release of Aung San Suu Kyi. He has urged the UK government not to recognise the military junta’s newly appointed ambassador.


Mrs World, who has been arrested in Sri Lanka after allegedly injuring another beauty queen. Caroline Jurie was meant to crown the winner of Mrs Sri Lanka, but pulled the crown off her head instead, claiming that she was divorced and thus ineligible for the title. The winner insisted she was only separated from her husband.
